What occasions do you design invitations for?

RSVP Love specializes in only wedding stationery. From Save the Dates, to your invitation suite, large signage displays and all of your day of print, if you dream it for your big day, we can make it happen!

Can you design other printed pieces for my event?

We are kind of obsessed with coordinating pieces!! They are the best way to personalize your event and make a big impact! We’ll work with you to make your special day feel cohesive with other print including: Programs, menus, favors, place and escort cards, table numbers, signaage and other custom pieces to give your special day an extra touch of personalization.

When should I order my invitations?

The earlier the better, but at minimum 6-8 months before your wedding. Save the date design should begin 2 months before your mailing date—which is usually 8–12 months before your wedding. Turnaround time after approval varies on each order, but typically is within 3-4 weeks. RSVP Love does not take on every couple due to the custom nature of creating and the hours involved per client. Most full custom couples book 12-18 months before their wedding date. We recommend inquiring with a stationer after you book your venue!

When will my invitations be sent out?

A custom timeline is created for each couple, so you don’t have to do any of the guessing of when things should be mailed! Each wedding is unique in needs, so taking multiple factors into account when creating your custom timeline, gives you more peace of mind during this planning process. For a typical wedding where most guests are local, we recommend mailing 6-8 weeks before your RSVP’s are due. This gives you extra time to make your final list and provide us with guest information for other print materials, such as place cards or seating charts.

What other services do you provide?

With 15 plus years of experience and etiquette in the design and event industry, you will be guided from start to finish through the wedding stationery process! No matter what package you choose, each couple is provided with a custom timeline, master guest list, guest addressing guide, and access to a private client portal to view all proofs. To make your special day less stressful, RSVP Love can assemble, affixe postage, and personally deliver your invitations at the post office to ensure your invitations are well taken care of and hand canceled! Are you able to provide final samples?

Due to the custom nature of our designs and printing setup costs, we do not offer hard copy samples. Only digital PDF proofs are available. In some cases a digital printed proof is possible at a small fee. All artwork samples will be provided as PDF proofs and loaded into our client portal to view for your approval.

I’m on a limited budget. Can I afford to go custom?

While fully custom design will always be a passion of ours, we know it falls outside of budget constraints for some couples. With our semi-custom option, you are getting a beautifully designed product for close to the price online, with the skill and expertise of a stationer who cares about you as a couple and your big day! Some things money just can’t buy!

How much do custom invitations cost?

The minimum investment starts at $2,900 and includes guest addressing, return address printing, all assembly white glove delivery service to the post office for a 6 piece custom suite (invitation, invitation envelope, rsvp, rsvp envelope or belly band, information card and envelope liner) at 75 quantity. All other quantities and custom pieces like wax seals, embellishments, different printing methods and other customizations are added separately to that base price. The average a couple spends is generally around $3,800. Taxes and postage are added onto your final bill. Prices are subject to change.

Can I take care of printing or addressing myself?

Unfortunately, we do not offer our artwork for personal use. We offer all of these services as part of your invitation package so you don’t have to lift a finger!! We do make exceptions for select artwork, like monograms, which can be purchased and used for materials relating to the event that we may not print or provide.

Can I make a change after my final approval?

We want everything to be perfect for you! Changes can be made after sending to print, however, any costs incurred will be billed accordingly. To avoid this, clients are responsible for all proofing. Please triple-check all aspects of your proof before signing off on your final approval.

Do you accept rush orders?

We do accept rush orders based on our current workload with a rush design fee. Please contact us and ask about rush scheduling.

Should I order extra sets?

Ordering extra is always recommended. Plan to order an extra 10-20% to allow for unexpected guest list additions, calligraphy errors and keepsakes. It is much more cost effective to order extras than to reprint!

How much do large sign installations cost?

Due to the unique and custom nature of these design displays, we create a custom quote for each order. Large displays are carefully crafted for stability, weather, location, design impact, and materials. For large displays more than 3x4, RSVP Love must set up and tear down sign installations. A delivery fee will be added to ensure proper care. Expect most “Pinterest” inspired designs to begin at $1000 with delivery. Let us know your vision and budget and we will gladly give options to bring things to life!!

What’s the Difference in the Semi-Custom Package Options?

Package 1 is a 3 piece suite that includes the invitation, information card and outer envelope. This package is designed for the minimalist couples or small events where online response is preferred. Therefore, an rsvp card is not needed, and we can include a website or qr code for gathering and tracking responses. Since this package does not require assembly other than placing materials in the envelope, the pieces will be mailed to couples to insert, seal and mail on their own. Full white glove mailing service can be added to this package for couples looking to have this laborious task removed from their to-do list! Other quantities and embellishment details can be added to this package!

Package 2 is a 5 piece suite designed with flexibility in mind! Depending on your guest response needs, we can customize the pieces included. If you don’t wish to have a mail returned rsvp, you could opt for a belly band instead of an rsvp envelope. A longer consultation, approximately 1 hour, is used to discuss these different needs and finesse the design. Since there are more pieces with this package, full assembly is included. However, assembled and stamped invitations will be mailed to the client to deliver to the post office. A complimentary full suite with vintage postage is included so your photographer can capture a beautifully detailed flat lay of your stationery. Other quantities, white glove delivery service, and embellishment details can be added to this package!
